Fitting Liners

Fitting of liners is generally easy and quick.

30ft containers are usually owned by logistic operators and have been designed to meet their own needs. Consequently, liners can be designed to suit the internals of the container exactly.

Ocean-going containers (20ft; 40ft; 45ft)  are owned by shipping lines and whilst the externals of the containers are standardised to meet port handling needs, the internal lashing points which are used to hang and fix the liners, are different with each shipping lines. Consequently, liners for such containers require additional accessories, such as hooks, rope, tape, etc..

On ocean-going containers, in addition to fitting a liner, a false bulkhead is also required to be fitted, along with steel retaining bars.
